Yes, The Rumours Are True (11.09.09)
According to a recent news report, pubs & bars in the UK are closing at a rate of around 45 per month… Unfortunately, due to overheads & lack of trade, Rumours Bar on the B Sector Commercial Centre is being forced to close its doors for the last time this Sunday 13th September 2009.
The Post Room which is currently located in Rumours function room daily from 4pm - 5pm is apparently re-locating back to Kennellys Bar as from Monday 14th September 2009. This latest blow to business is yet another by-product of the current economic climate.
Here at VisitCamposol.Com we try to help bring as much tourism & trade to the businesses on Camposol & surrounding areas, many businesses promote themselves on our pages to encourage visitors to visit, drink & eat at their establishments, yet even after a busy summer on Camposol; the Rumours bar could obviously not pay for itself anymore. To the owners & all of the staff; we wish the best of luck for the future.
In closing it is a shame to lose a local business but we are fortunate as many more are being lost in the UK, lets hope things start to improve soon!
